The literal FIRST QUEST for almost every race (except worgen , goblins and maybe pandaren) is about killing animals

Considering how many quests in this game boil down to either “beating sense into” or “beating the evil out of” It seems silly to be worried too much about this one instance. Hell, we train imaginary monsters to eat each other’s faces in 3-on-3 duels so that we cane win bandages for those same monsters.

I love animals and I always have at least two pets in my home at any time, so I am sensitive to the issue of animal abuse… and I thought the ending to the warrior mount quest was hilarious. Of COURSE a warrior would tame a ferocious dragon by punching it in the face.

It’s a dragon, for crying out loud. Worry about actual real world animal abuse.

Personally, I prefer the fury color. I’m just glad I’m not protection, because good luck finding a decent mog for that purple skin.

This is weird. On the Paladin mount preview you had to buy the other colors (with the requirement of getting all 7.2 traits to unlock each of them first). I wonder if this one is different or if it is merely a placeholder for a similar system.

What’s wrong with a tint of violet?

How did you get that mount?

I punched a few people, and the dragon, in the face.

I still don’t get what this mount has to do with Warriors. I get that it’s hard to work with their lore, but Blizzard did a great job with their class hall. Why didn’t they just continue in that vein? Instead we get a generic dinosaur/dragon thing. 🙁

Wish Fury got the red skin. Seems like that would make more sense seeing that fury/anger in general is usually associated with color red. Oh well…

12years, dozens of quests and 80% of cooking recipes that involves the slaughtering of animals

now we get this comment, well better late then never i guess

I think there will be something else coming in a future patch, like a pet or a toy for Warriors. We did the Shaman class mount quest as well, and it worked just liked Warriors – mounts changed based on spec. I don’t think we’ll show the Shaman chain quite yet though, as Blizzard announced the tints and one model were changing in an upcoming build.

The color itself is fine, it just wouldn’t be easy to find a matching mog for. The other tints are much easier.

Oh great, another Protodrake… and an ugly one. I’d rather keep using Spawn of Galakras. Nithogg otherwise, would be an excellent choice. Not only a new visual for draconic mounts, but his name is imposing and he lives in Stormheim, home of the Valarjars.

Can you at least say what spec gets what tint?
